FAQ's
Great question! Think of a travel agent as someone who helps you book flight and hotels. A travel planner, on the other hand, is like your personal travel concierge. I handle everything from start to finish—detailed itinerary planning, special requests like hypoallergenic pillows, and support during your travels. My goal is to make your trip seamless and stress-free, so you can focus on enjoying yourself.
The cost of using a travel planner is often much less than you might think. Planning fees do vary based on individual itineraries and the amount of planning and quote sourcing required – but I’ll always discuss this with you upfront! You can review my service fees here, which covers all my planning and advice for all components of your trip. For trips involving 4-star or higher accommodation, the access to exclusive bonuses and offers, plus savings on avoiding mistakes often more than cover my fee.
One of the biggest perks of having a travel planner is the peace of mind that comes with knowing you have support if things go wrong. If you encounter any issues during your trip—like a missed flight, a problem with your hotel, or any other unexpected hiccup—I’m just a phone call away. I have a network of contacts and resources to help resolve issues quickly, so you can continue enjoying your holiday without unnecessary stress.
As your personal travel researcher, I save you hours of sifting through thousands of options. I make sure all the details are perfect, from ensuring your flights align with hotel check-ins to special requests. And if something goes wrong during your trip, I’m just a phone call away to help resolve any issues. Imagine having someone else handle all the nitty-gritty details so you can simply enjoy your holiday—that’s the peace of mind a travel planner provides.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade strongly asks intending travellers to consider taking out travel insurance. Travellers without travel insurance are personally liable for covering any medical and associated costs they incur. The Australian Government will not pay for your medical treatment overseas or medical evacuation to Australia or a third country. Please refer to DFAT Travel Insurance for more information. Travel Insurance may protect you against cancellation fees if you cancel your holiday due to unforeseen (unavoidable) circumstances. Travel with Adela considers it essential that you have adequate Travel Insurance cover for personal accident, loss of baggage and illness.
